100 Movie Insults

100 Classic Movie Insults in 5 Words

Profane, Funny, Scary, English, Wow!

Here’s a wonderful collection of 100 great movie insults that hit the mark, make you cringe, make you laugh and make you wish “I said that.”

They’ve been edited together by Harry Hanrahan.

Short, Funny and Profane

The sequence kicks of with Steven Martin (a modern Cyrano de Bergerac) in Roxanne winning a bet by insulting his own nose.

Kevin Kline tries very hard  in A Fish Called Wanda and the great  Joe Peci continues the charge in Casino,

Sophisticated and Emotional

Jack Lemon delivers some superb insults from David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross. The great Bad Santa is a thrill and it doesn’t get more profane than Brendan Gleeson’s short ‘c’ speech, In Bruges and of course the fully charged Full Metal Jacket keeps up the momentum.

Classic and Telling

Classic movies are also included like Casablanca and Duck Soup and it’s great to see Monty Python represented with the Holy Grail.

It’s 10 minutes of classic insults.
